The Role: 

As a Business Development Manager at Oden, you will be responsible for building the Business Development team from the ground-up to accelerate growth to complex, very large enterprises. You will start as both an individual contributor and a manager, acting as the first point of contact for the executives at our prospective customers to drive additional business and form foundational messaging, programs, and strategy. You will then focus on growing a team of world-class BDRs, including training, coaching, and ensuring Oden’s productivity and strategy are evolving rapidly.

Oden is looking for poised, high-energy professionals with proven success as both a BDR and manager of BDR teams in B2B SaaS. You have a strong ambition to lead and expand business development teams, and are able to build trusted relationships with executives at Fortune 1000 corporations. You are a creative, detail-oriented, and self-driven leader who is comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Most importantly, you are excited about sales, building an amazing brand, and helping create meaningful change for our growing organization.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:

  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel our sales team
  • Research, prospect and connect with key stakeholders in Oden’s target market
  • Conduct thoughtful, high-level conversations with executives and decision-makers
  • Work closely with Marketing and Account Executives to develop account-specific engagement strategies, including messaging that strongly represents our value and differentiation
  • Hire and coach BDRs on the techniques and skills they need to succeed
  • Work with Oden executives in Marketing, Operations, and Sales to evolve our go-to-market strategy

Preferred Experience:

  • At least 2 years of success in B2B SaaS as a Business Development Representative or similar
  • At least 2 years of success managing BDR teams
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • High energy and positive attitude
  • Demonstrated success in meeting monthly targets
  • Creative and inquisitive by nature, comfortable with ambiguity
